The courses in this section meet the requirements for an Associate of Science degree. The Graduation section in any catalog of the colleges in the Alamo Colleges District lists additional Degree/Certificate Requirements.

  • MATH 2413 - Calculus I º will transfer as MATH 2313 and MATH 2113 [Texas A&M University - San Antonio Mathematics (20) Core] (grade must be a “C” or better)
  • Select one course from the Language, Philosophy & Culture (40) Core  will transfer as Texas A&M University - San Antonio Language, Philosophy and Culture (40) Core

This Transfer Advising Guide provides 66 college-level hours, of which 66 will transfer and apply towards the Texas A&M University - San Antonio baccalaureate degree in Mathematics.

Note: Texas A&M University - San Antonio does not have a maximum number of college-level transfer hours accepted towards a baccalaureate degree.  Students must complete the specified number of advanced credits and credits in residence for their degrees.

Students may still take the following Texas A&M University - San Antonio degree required courses:

  • Select 5 SCH of Electives will transfer as Texas A&M University - San Antonio Elective

AS Approved Course Requirements

The Associate of Science (AS) is designed to align closely with the first half of a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree.  Students should follow the pre-major AS to BS Transfer Advising Guide for the major and university selected.  The Transfer Advising Guides are developed in conjunction with the senior institution to which the student plans to transfer.

To be awarded the AS degree at one of the colleges in the Alamo Colleges District, students must have 9 hours of AS Approved Course Requirements not included in the 42 hours of Core Curriculum.  Please check with your advisor for assistance.
