MATH 1332 - Contemporary Mathematics (Quantitative Reasoning)
Corequisites: MATH 0132
Math Basic Skills Prerequisite: MATH 0410
This course is intended for Non-STEM majors who have completed MATH 0410 or are eligible for MATH 0320 and need to take MATH 1342 for their major. Students will co-enroll in both MATH 0142 and MATH 1342. This course supports students in developing skills, strategies, and reasoning needed to succeed in mathematics, including communication and appropriate use of technology. Topics include the study of numeracy and the real number system; algebraic concepts, notation, and reasoning; quantitative relationships; mathematical models; and problem solving, and any addition topics, as needed, to support the content of MATH 1342.
