CDEC 2287 - Internship - Child Care Provider/Assistant

Prerequisites: (CDEC 2286 and CDEC 1192) or CDEC 1380; CDEC 1319 or concurrent enrollment
Corequisites: CDEC 1194

A work-based learning experience that enables the student to apply specialized occupational theory, skills and concepts. A learning plan is developed by the college and the employer. This course includes six hours per week of practical experience in a preschool classroom and is linked to CDEC 1194. Both must be taken concurrently. Recommended Basic Skills Prerequisites: MATH 0410 and ready for INRW 0420.
