Semester III
- MATH 2413 - Calculus I º will transfer as MATH 2413 [Texas A&M University - Corpus Christi Mathematics (20) Core] (grade must be a “C” or better)
- Select one course from the American History (60) Core will transfer as Texas A&M University - Corpus Christi American History (60) Core
Applicable Transfer Credit Hours
This Transfer Advising Guide provides 69 college-level hours, of which 59 will transfer and apply as EDUC 1300, MATH 1314 and MATH 2412 will transfer but will NOT be applicable towards the Texas A&M University - Corpus Christi baccalaureate degree in Industrial Engineering.
Note: Texas A&M University - Corpus Christi accepts a maximum of 66 college-level hours in transfer towards a baccalaureate degree. Students must complete the specified number of advanced credits and credits in residence for their degrees.

The Associate of Science (AS) is designed to align closely with the first half of a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree. Students should follow the pre-major AS to BS Transfer Advising Guide for the major and university selected. The Transfer Advising Guides are developed in conjunction with the senior institution to which the student plans to transfer.
To be awarded the AS degree at one of the colleges in the Alamo Colleges District, students must have 9 hours of AS Approved Course Requirements not included in the 42 hours of Core Curriculum. Please check with your advisor for assistance.
Texas A&M University - Corpus Christi Foreign Language University Requirement
Foreign Language Requirement
At least two high school credits in one foreign language or American Sign Language OR two semesters of study with passing grades in a single foreign language or American Sign Language at the college level are required for graduation from Texas A&M University - Corpus Christi. This requirement may be met by earning a CLEP, AP, or ACTFL score equivalent to one year of college-level foreign language study. If students decide to meet this requirement by taking two semesters at the University, an assessment test must be taken prior to registering in order to be placed in the appropriate language course.
International students who have successfully passed the Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL) with a score of 550 or higher, scored a 6.5 or higher on the International English Language Testing System (IELTS), OR have successfully completed the English as a Second Language International (ESLI) course of study may elect to choose English as their second language to meet the above requirement. Additionally, international and naturalized students who have provided proof of completion of high school in a foreign language (their native language) and who have successfully completed the English Composition and Oral Communication components of the University Core Curriculum Program may choose English as their second language to meet this requirement. English is considered to be the first language for all other students.
