Applicable Transfer Credit Hours
This Transfer Advising Guide provides 63 college-level hours, of which 62 will transfer and apply, as 1 SCH EDUC 1300 will transfer, but will NOT be applicable towards the Texas A&M University-Kingsville business baccalaureate degree in Business Administration, Product Pricing and Business Analytics.
Note: Texas A&M University-Kingsville does not have a maximum number of college-level transfer hours accepted towards a baccalaureate degree. Students must complete the specified number of advanced credits and credits in residence for their degrees.

Texas A&M University - Kingsville Transfer Excellence Scholarship
The Transfer Excellence Scholarship is awarded to students who transfer to Texas A&M University-Kingsville (TAMUK) with at least a 3.0 transfer GPA. To receive this award, students must also have completed 15 or more semester credit hours from a regionally accredited institution and must enroll at TAMUK full-time. This scholarship is renewable for students who maintain a 3.0 GPA and complete 30 semester credit hours each year.

The Business Administration and Management Field of Study Curriculum is for students who are seeking a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) degree with a major in business.
The Business Administration and Management FOS applies to all baccalaureate programs in Business within the 52 two-digit CIP code, other than Economics (which has a separate FOSC) and Specialized Sales, Merchandising, and Marketing Operations (CIP 52.1999.00).

Special Admissions Requirements for the College of Business at Texas A&M University - Kingsville
Admission Requirements
Students wishing to earn a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) degree must apply for admission to and be accepted by the College of Business Administration when they have earned between 54 and 60 credits. All students admitted to the College of Business Administration are expected to have a basic level of knowledge including the ability to read and write effectively, to think quantitatively and to have a basic understanding of our economic system.
To gain admission to the College, students must meet the following requirements:
- Earn a minimum ACT score of 17 or SAT score of 850
- Earn a grade of C or better in each of the following seven courses:
- ACCT 2301, ACCT 2302, ECON 2301, ECON 2302, ENGL 1301, ENGL 1302, MATH 1314
- Complete at least 54 credit hours
- Earn a grade point average of at least 2.00 in all undergraduate work completed prior to admission*
- Complete the Student Professional Development Program**
*Transfer students must have earned a grade point average of at least 2.00 on course work completed at Texas A&M University-Kingsville.
**The Student Professional Development Program must be completed no later than the end of the first semester after admission to the College.
Special situations that may arise with respect to completion of the lower-division course work and sequencing of courses such as students transferring from other majors within the university and students transferring from other institutions, may be handled on a case-by-case basis.
