Applicable Transfer Credit Hours
This Transfer Advising Guide provides 69 college-level hours, of which 69 will transfer and apply towards the Our Lady of the Lake University baccalaureate degree in Criminology and Criminal Justice.
Note: Our Lady of the Lake University accepts a maximum of 72 college-level hours in transfer towards a baccalaureate degree. Students must complete the specified number of advanced credits and credits in residence for their degree.
Note: For students who elect to take General Biology I (BIOL 1406 or 1408 OR 1308/1108) as their Our Lady of the Lake University (OLLU) Natural Science Core requirement, students should be advised that OLLU will NOT grant credit for both BIOL 1406 Biology for Science Majors I and BIOL 1408 Biology for Non-Science Majors I (BIOL 1308 Biology for Non-Science Majors I (Lecture) AND BIOL 1108 Biology for Non-Science Majors Laboratory I (lab) as the OLLU Natural Science Core and an OLLU Science Elective.
Note: Our Lady of the Lake University requires all courses to be completed with a grade of “C” or better.

The Criminal Justice Field of Study is designed to provide students with a basic foundation in legal studies. Students will gain a broad understanding of the historical and philosophical basis of criminal law as well as the substantive and procedural aspects.
