Lower Division Requirements at the Alamo Colleges District for an AA degree


The courses in this section meet the requirements for an Associate of Arts degree. The Graduation section in any catalog of the colleges in the Alamo Colleges District lists additional Degree/Certificate Requirements.

  • PHIL 1301 - Introduction to Philosophy will transfer as PHIL 2321 [OLLU Philosophy Core]
  • Select a PSYC Elective or EDUC Elective will transfer as OLLU Minor Elective [Be advised: these elective options are specific to the OLLU Minor that is required. See note in Applicable Transfer Credit Hours section for specific course options.]

This Transfer Advising Guide provides 62 college-level hours, of which 62 will transfer and apply towards the Our Lady of the Lake University baccalaureate degree in Communication and Learning Disorders.

Note: Our Lady of the Lake University accepts a maximum of 72 college level hours in transfer towards a baccalaureate degree. Students must complete the specified number of advanced credits and credits in residence for their degrees.

Note: Our Lady of the Lake University requires all courses to be completed with a grade of “C” or better.

Note:  Our Lady of the Lake University requires Psychology or Child Studies as a minor for the baccalaureate degree in Communication and Learning Disorders.

Students may still take the following Our Lady of the Lake University degree required course for PSYC/EDUC Elective in Semester VI based on selected minor:

For Child Studies minor
