The courses in this section meet the requirements for an Associate of Science degree. The Graduation section in any catalog of the colleges in the Alamo Colleges District lists additional Degree/Certificate Requirements.
Applicable Transfer Credit Hours
This Transfer Advising Guide provides 71 college‐level hours, of which 61 will transfer and apply as MATH 2412, MATH 1314 and EDUC 1300 will transfer, but will NOT be applicable towards the Texas Tech University baccalaureate degree in Computer Science.
Note: Texas Tech University accepts a maximum of 80 college-level hours in transfer towards a baccalaureate degree.
Note: A grade of C or better is required for all courses in a TTU computer science degree plan.

Field of Study Curriculum for Computer Science

This Field of Study prepares students with foundational education in Computer Science. The courses instill students with fundamental concepts and provides them with hands-on experience. Students will be able to obtain the knowledge and skills necessary for success in the computer industry.
This Field of Study also provides a foundation for transfer into a 4-year computer science program.

Alamo Colleges District developed each Transfer Advising Guide with the understanding to account for Texas Tech University Uniform Undergraduate Degree Requirements as well as Texas Tech University college-specific requirements, if applicable.
