Upon completion of Semester VI, students can earn Core Curriculum Completion, the coursework below/coursework outside the Associate of Applied Science (AAS) degree plan are degree required courses for Texas A&M University - Kingsville.  ALL courses within this transfer advising guide will transfer and apply towards Texas A&M University - Kingsville Bachelor of Applied Arts and Sciences (BAAS) degree with the exception of those listed in the Applicable Transfer Credit Hours section. + denotes applicable courses towards the Core Curriculum Completion for both Alamo Colleges District and Texas A&M University - Kingsville.

This Transfer Advising Guide provides 90 college-level hours, of which 84 will transfer and apply, as 6 SCH of Technical/Vocational credits will transfer but will NOT be applicable towards Texas A&M University - Kingsville baccalaureate degree in Applied Arts and Sciences (Criminology).

Note: Texas A&M University - Kingsville does not have a maximum number of college-level transfer hours accepted towards a baccalaureate degree.  Students must complete the specified number of advanced credits and credits in residence for their degrees.

Note:  Texas A&M University - Kingsville will accept 39 SCH of Technical/Vocational credits for this major based on degree requirements.

Note: For the Alamo Colleges District this transfer advising guide is Associate of Applied Science (AAS) degree complete and core complete.

Texas A&M University - Kingsville Transfer Merit Scholarship


Transfer Merit Scholarship

Amount: $1,000 to $4,000

Qualifications: Your completed admissions application allows you to be automatically considered for the Transfer Merit Scholarship. Transfer students are awarded based on the transfer GPA of 3.0 or higher.  Admitted applicants who are eligible for Transfer Merit Scholarships will be notified via e-mail and U.S. mail.

Priority date: January 15
