This Transfer Advising Guide provides 72 college-level hours, of which 72 will transfer and apply towards the Our Lady of the Lake University baccalaureate degree in Computer Information Systems and Security.

Note: Our Lady of the Lake University accepts a maximum of 72 college level hours in transfer towards a baccalaureate degree. Students must complete the specified number of advanced credits and credits in residence for their degrees.

Note: Our Lady of the Lake University requires all courses to be completed with a grade of “C” or better.

Note: Our Lady of the Lake University does NOT require a minor for the baccalaureate degree in Computer Information Security and Systems.

Note:  For students who elect to take General Biology I (BIOL 1406 or 1408 OR 1308/1108) as their Our Lady of the Lake University (OLLU) Natural Science Core requirement, students should be advised that OLLU will NOT grant credit for both BIOL 1406 Biology for Science Majors I and BIOL 1408 Biology for Non-Science Majors I (BIOL 1308 Biology for Non-Science Majors I (Lecture) /BIOL 1108 Biology for Non-Science Majors Laboratory I (lab) as the OLLU Natural Science Core and an OLLU Science Elective.

Note: Based on student course selection, students may be eligible for an Associate of Science (AS) degree.

AS Approved Course Requirements

The Associate of Science (AS) is designed to align closely with the first half of a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree.  Students should follow the pre-major AS to BS Transfer Advising Guide for the major and university selected.  The Transfer Advising Guides are developed in conjunction with the senior institution to which the student plans to transfer.

To be awarded the AS degree at one of the colleges in the Alamo Colleges District, students must have 9 hours of AS Approved Course Requirements not included in the 42 hours of Core Curriculum.  Please check with your advisor for assistance.
